Through the Mid-Florida Homeless Coalition (serving Citrus, Hernando, Lake, and Sumter Counties), efforts are initiated to obtain federal, state, local and other available grants and or private donations to assist the homeless through direct service centers. Referrals are made to the nearest center for emergency assistance.
